TVA’s Regional Energy Resource Council to Hold Public Meeting

KNOXVILLE, TN –  The Tennessee Valley Authority Regional Energy Resource Council values input and invites the public to virtually attend its Spring meeting on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24. The council will discuss emerging decarbonization technologies and TVA’s regional grid transformation as the agency moves toward net-zero emissions.

The virtual meeting will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET on May 23 and from 8:15 a.m. to 11:55 a.m. ET on May 24. A link and instructions to view the meeting will be posted at www.tva.com/rerc the week prior to the meeting.

The RERC will gather public input by providing a virtual thirty-minute public listening session on May 24 at 8:30 a.m. ET. Anyone wishing to speak must register by emailing arfarless@tva.gov by 5 p.m. ET on Friday, May 20. Speakers will have two minutes to address the council. Members of the public are also invited to email written comments to arfarless@tva.gov or mail them to the Regional Resource Council, Tennessee Valley Authority, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, WT 9D, Knoxville Tennessee 37902, no later than May 20.
