FLORENCE – Traffic across Wilson Dam on South Cox Creek Parkway/North Wilson Dam Road near Florence will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 15-16, while equipment from the roadway is moved to a lower section of the dam. A complete closure is necessary for the safety of motorists and repair crews.
In the event of bad weather, the work may be extended or rescheduled. Motorists should expect delays and may want to consider another route. Signs will be placed on both sides of the bridge and gates will be in place.
