COLBERT COUNTY-A single-vehicle crash at 1 p.m. today, June 23, claimed the life of a Tuscumbia teen. Evan Michael Isbell, 16, was killed when the 2003 Ford pickup he was driving left the roadway, overturned and struck a utility pole. Isbell was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck’s passenger was airlifted to Huntsville Hospital. The crash occurred on Colbert County 40, also known as River Road, just east of Ford Road, one mile east of Muscle Shoals. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
