Tuscumbia Celebrates “Dickens Day Downtown” December 12

TUSCUMBIA-Celebrate the season at “Dickens Day Downtown”, a modified version of Tuscumbia’s annual “It’s a Dickens Christmas, Y’all” Festival.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Due to Covid 19, a more limited line-up will offer a return of the popular carriage rides with Clyde and Pride, the Clydesdales and will feature all the Dickens characters strolling through town and Santa, too! Downtown shops and restaurants will offer their specials throughout the day.

  • The carriage rides will be complimentary (free).    10:00 – 3:00
  • Santa will be making appearances in the downtown pocket park (Cold Water Commons), where  “snow” will be falling. 10:00 – 3:00
  • The new carousel is up and running in Spring Park and there will be complimentary photos with the carousel ponies on Dickens Day 11:00 – 1:00
