LAUDERDALE COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehice accident in Lauderdale County, involving a Combine has taken the life of one person:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:12 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, has claimed the life of a Tuscaloosa man.
Joshua D. Strozier, 26, was fatally injured when the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado pickup he was driving collided head-on with the 2017 John Deere S690 Combine driven by Brandon D. Bruce, 37, of Florence. Strozier was not using his seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 20 near the 7 mile marker, approximately 11 miles west of Florence, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
