HUNTSVILLE—just a little more than a month after launching Pre™ at Huntsville International Airport (HSV), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) opens an enrollment center in Decatur. What does this mean? Individuals that want to register for Pre™ no longer have to go out of state for the
in-person portion of the application process. That’s great news for our passengers!
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has opened an
application site for its TSA Pre™ Application Program in Decatur. This application process
allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to directly enroll in TSA Pre™, an 
expedited screening program that allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and
belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in
select screening lanes.
Travelers in North Alabama will now be able to go through a pre-enrollment process online at
www.TSA.gov, make an appointment and complete their enrollment at the application center in
Decatur. Previously, passengers had to travel out of state to complete enrollment for the
program.
TSA is currently in the process of expanding to more than 300 application centers across the
country. As application centers open across the country, this new process will allow all U.S.
travelers and lawful permanent residents the ability to apply directly to TSA’s popular expedited
screening program.
The TSA Pre™ application process allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to go
through a pre-enrollment process online at www.TSA.gov and visit an application center to
provide biographic information (e.g. name, date of birth, address, etc.), fingerprints, payment and
valid required identity and citizenship/immigration documentation. All TSA Pre™ program
applicants must visit an application center in-person to verify their identity and provide
documentation to confirm their citizenship/immigration status as well as to provide fingerprints.

The address to the TSA location is no longer 1436 shoal creek road. It is 116 Ipsco Street, Decatur, Alabama 35601
I went to tsa office in Decatur and recieved Compliance and paid for tsa week before July 4th. I still have not recieved my tsa papers. What step do I need to take to reach out to the office in Decatur. Just to find out when and why I have not recieved the paperwork yet. Thank you
