Funeral service for Truman Lee Shaddrix age 75 of Hartselle will be Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 7:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Mike Free officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Shaddrix, who was born April 3, 1946 in Morgan County to Eugene Shaddrix and Myrtle L. Turner Shaddrix, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was a devoted Christian man who had a desire to win others to the Lord and was the former Pastor at First Faith Falkville Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a Preacher and former Plant Superintendent at Chore-Time in Priceville. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Dwight Shaddrix and John Shaddrix and a sister, Betty Blackwood.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Shaddrix; a son, David Shaddrix (Shannon); a daughter, Melissa Chaffee; 2 brothers, Carl Shaddrix and Dwayne Shaddrix; 6 Sisters, Naydean Montgomery, Carol Carden, Fayteen Cryer, Marveline Steel, Geraldine Smith and Vickie Steel; 2 grandchildren, Amber Fullerton and Luke Chaffee; 3 great-grandchildren, Layla Fullerton, Dean Chaffee and Sam Chaffee
