Truby Morgan Reynolds, our dear mother, 89, of Sheffield, gained her angel wings May 30, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the chapel. Tony Chaney and Bro. Thomas Thornton will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her grandson, Brent Kennamore. She was very fond of her time as a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church where she made many lifelong friends. As she continued her walk with Christ, she found new membership at Abby Baptist where she continued to make more friends and memories. Truby had an affinity for her granddog, Cooper, and enjoyed adventure. Two angels, Sonya Stutts and Carolyn Hasha, helped Mrs. Reynolds sustain a better lifestyle.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Kennamore (B.J.) and Steven Harold Hatton; and sisters, Mavis Pace and Ivy Byrd.
The family extends thanks to the third and fourth floor staff at Helen Keller Hospital.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
