Troyce Lee Ledbetter

Troyce Lee Ledbetter, age 92, of Florence, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at his residence.  The family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home with service to begin at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel.  Dr. Chris Aday and Garry Lovette will be officiating. Burial at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens will follow the service.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert H. and Hettie Ledbetter; brothers, Golden, Hollis, Junior, and Edward; and sisters, Eva Grissom, Ernestine Self, Vaudine Ledbetter and Ellen Carrico.

Troyce is survived by his wife Marcia Ledbetter of 62 years; daughter, Sheila Baldwin (Richard); grandchildren, Ryan and Kaylee; and sister, Eugenia.

Troyce was born in Franklin County, Alabama.  He graduated from Vina High School and was a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Vocational Agriculture.  He taught a semester at Russellville High School before serving in the military (Army). He retired from Equifax Inc. after almost thirty years.  He served as a deacon at Lee Heights Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to Gentiva Hospice nurses, aides, and staff for their kindness and compassion.
