Troy Waylon Stewart, 56, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on January 18, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on April 23, 1968, in Huntsville, Alabama, to Clyde and Betty (Southard) Stewart.

A lifelong resident of Madison County, Troy was known for his love of fishing, playing cards, and working on cars. A dedicated workaholic and a devout Christian, he was deeply committed to his family, his faith, and the community where he was born and raised.

Troy is survived by his parents, Clyde and Betty Stewart; his wife, Linda Skipworth; his children, Troy Skipworth, Pricella Skipworth, Donnie Skipworth, and Cynthia Skipworth; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brothers Lonnie Stewart, Anthony Stewart and Johnny Stewart; and his sister, Angela Allen. He was preceded in death by his son, Logan Stewart.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will take place at Concord Cemetery.
