Troy Lyle Hampton

Age 84 of Gallatin passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023 at his home. He was born May 5, 1939 in Millersville, TN to Hogan Jasper & Eva Mae Whittle Hampton. He worked as an electrician before his retirement. He enjoyed playing country music on his guitars and he enjoyed artistic painting. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara Ann Heard Hampton; 2 brothers; 3 sisters. He is survived by his sons, Terry (Linda) Hampton, White House, TN and Tim (Shellie) Hampton, Smyrna, TN; sisters, Jo Ellen Fox, Gina Ann Chatman, Trudy Packs and Nina Moss; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Hampton, Everett Hampton and Seth Hampton; 4 great-grandchildren, Lucy, Ellie Clyde and Wyatt. A graveside service and interment is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 3pm in Pleasant Grove UMC Cemetery with Pastor Jon Briggs officiating. Visitation is planned for Tuesday, August 8, 2023 1:30PM-2:30PM at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House.
