Troy Ellis Goodman, age 61, passed away on April 14, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems. He was born in Winchester on July 17, 1962, to the late Ellis and Linda Goodman. Troy loved fishing, golf, music, cooking, and playing cards, but above all else, he loved his family. He attended the Winchester First Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Moore-Cortner Funeral Home staff, whom he considered family. Troy is preceded in death by his parents and he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Paula Goodman; daughters, Amy (Tom Holder) Goodman of Winchester, and Leslie (Keith) Lowe of Cowan; son, Cory (Elisabeth) Goodman of Birmingham, Alabama; brother, Tony (Shirley) Goodman of Decherd; sister, Traci Goodman of Winchester; and grandchildren, Amelia Lowe, Birdie Jane Holder, Arleigh Holder, Isaiah Holder, JoAnna Goodman, and Katelyn Lowe. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 5pm-8pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 5pm on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
