Troy Dale "T-Roy" Hicks  Troy Dale Hicks, affectionately known as “T-Roy,” passed away on December 2, 2024, in Heflin, Alabama, at the age of 62. Born on June 13, 1962, he was the beloved son of Melvin and Joyce Hicks. Troy was a cherished brother to his sisters, Tina McCoy (David) and Tonya Singer (Mike).

A devoted father, Troy is survived by his daughters, April Kaemmerer (Jonathon), Brandy Jones (Ben), Amanda Quin (James), and Victoria Harris. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life: Katis Jones, Wrangler Jones, Brantley Jones, Jase Martinez, Braden Kaemmerer, Rylee Kaemmerer, Taylor Kaemmerer, Ollie Quinn, Abby Quinn, Ellie Quinn, Eli Quinn, Jake Harris, Dale Harris, and Dewey Harris.

Throughout his life, Troy was known for his warm heart and generous spirit. He valued family more than anything else, always ensuring that his loved ones felt supported and cherished. His nickname, “T-Roy,” was a testament to the close bonds he formed with those around him, embodying the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie. His passion was riding and working on his Harley’s. He was a man of many talents with a love of animal, outdoors, race cars and play toys. He was young at heart and never grew up.

Troy’s life was marked by his dedication to his family and his unwavering kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be remembered by all those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A private family service will be held to honor Troy’s life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of choice in Troy’s memory, reflecting his generous nature and commitment to helping others.
