Mrs. Trilbia Estel Creekmore, age 85 of Hanceville, died Wednesday.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Creekmore, parents, Luther and Martha Jane (Powell) Grimmett, sister, Eula Mae Hutchinson, five brother, Herbert, Earl, Verland, Vernad, and Leldon Grimmett, and son-in-law, Gerald Stricklen.
She is survived by her daughter, Gilda (Chafin) Stricklin, granddaughter, Ginger (Stricklin) Jenkins and husband Les, great-grandson Lakelan Jenkins, sister-in-law, Dorothy Grimmett, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Mrs. Creekmore will lie-in-state from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Friday at New Prospect Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM at New Prospect Baptist Church with David McDonald officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at New Prospect Baptist Church prior to the graveside service. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at New Prospect Cemetery in Cullman, AL.
