FLORENCE-The trial of Eugene Lee Jones,who has been accused of the murder of Lula Addison in July of 2013 has been delayed until later this year.
During the pre-trial hearing on Monday, January 5th Lauderdale County Circuit Judge Gil Self allowed a continuance at Jones’ attorney’s request who was only appointed to the case late in 2014.
Jones has been accused of strangling Addison to death hours after meeting inside a hotel room at the City Lodge located in downtown Florence.
The trail has been rescheduled tentatively for March 2015.
