Travis “Fats” Putman, 81, of Lexington died Sunday, May 22, 2016, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Elkins East Chapel from 11 AM to 1 PM. A graveside service will be at 2 PM at Nebo Cemetery, with Caleb Gooch officiating.
Mr. Putman was a good Christian man and loved by all.
Mr. Putman was preceded in death by his parents, Hartie Franklin Putman and Clara Lena Ritter Putman; sister, Carine Putman Nix; brothers, Hartie Putman, Jr., Ted Putman, Hulon Putman, and Bradley Putman.
Mr. Putman is survived by his sister, Sue Nix; brothers, Ray Putman, Elvis Putman, and Mayburn Putman (Betty); several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Nix, Danny Nix, Greg Putman, Keith Putman, Mitchem Smith, Larry Newton, and Roger Crowden.
