Traffic Stop In Sheffield Nets Over 2,000 fentanyl Pills

SHEFFIELD-On November 14th, 2024, agents with the Colbert County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop on East 31st

Street in Sheffield.

After making contact with driver, consent was given to conduct a search of the vehicle. During the scope of the search agents located a brown box with a sealed plastic bag containing 2,692 fentanyl pills.

At this time Rylee Jeane Burkett 22 of Killen,Al was taken in to custody and transported to Colbert County Jail, and charged with drug trafficking.
