MOULTON-Alabama Law Enforcement, Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling has issued a statement regarding a traffic accident with fatalities that happened earlier today:
“A single-vehicle crash at 5:55 a.m. today, Sept. 8, has claimed the lives of two Courtland men. Percy Mayes, 65, was killed when the 2003 Lincoln Aviator he was driving left the roadway, sideswiped a tree, and overturned. The vehicle’s passenger, Terry C. Robinson, 56, was also killed. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 33, three miles north of Moulton. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.”
