Tracyne Alexander Vandiver, age 81 of Muscle Shoals, died Friday, February 21, 2014. Visitation will be Saturday, 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Sunday, 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Chad Holder and Emitt Derrick officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Vandiver was a Colbert County native, a member of Mt. Pleasant Cumberland Presbyterian Church and played the piano for the church for 71 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett “Bud” Vandiver; her parents, James Tracy and Geneva Pullen Alexander; siblings, Julia Flannagan, Joanne Jordan and Douglas Alexander.
She is survived by her daughters, Patsy V. Bramlett and Toby Trousdale; sister, Sarah A. Smith; grandchildren, Amy Bramlett, BJ Lawrence, Kristin Shelton, Jessica Elkins, great-grandchildren, Cole Lawrence and Riley Lawrence
Pallbearers are Colin Jordan, Tracy Jordan, Brian Alexander, Robert Shelton, Gabe Elkins and Tom Bramlett.
Honorary Pallbearer is Cole Lawrence.
