Tracy Justin “T.J.” Guin – Obituary

Tracy Justin “T.J.” Guin, 23, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017, in Mantachie. He was born September 16, 1993, in Tupelo, and worked as a carpenter. He was a member of Center Star Independent Methodist Church. He was an avid Mississippi State fan who enjoyed riding horses and mules, fishing, and anything to do with the outdoors. He loved hanging out with his brother Chris and all his family and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 15, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. Douglas Kitchens and Bro. Chad Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery.

Survivors include his father, Tracy Guin (Jessica); his mother, Angie Mills (Keith); and brother, Chris McDonald (April), all of Mantachie; one sister, Mandy Smith (Kevin) and their son Karson of Amory; three step-sisters, Paige Phifer of Mantachie, Kelly Alred (Kenny) and their children Colin, Jarrett, and Lydia of Navarre, FL, and Karen Thomas (Seth) and their daughters Ella and Kenzie of Marietta; his grandparents, Janice and Dannie Waddle and Jim and Diane Guin, all of Marietta, and Jr. and Barbara Nunley of Mantachie; one aunt, Nikki Newell (Brandon) and their daughters Amelia and Brenna of Duluth, GA; two uncles, Tony Guin and his children Seth and Haley Beth, and Denis Guin and his children Cory, Jason, and Chip, all of Mantachie; two special friends, Lil Mac Grimes and Rashad Walker; and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Thompson; a niece, Karley McDonald; and his favorite uncle, Prentiss Spencer.

Pallbearers will be Lil Mac Grimes, Rashad Walker, Seth Guin, Chip Guin, and Jason Guin.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
