Tonya Thompson Maxwell, age 44, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at UAB Birmingham. She was born on Monday, Jan. 22, 1968, in Amory, Miss.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at Hamilton First Baptist Church.
Interment will be at Carter Cemetery, Detroit. Brother Preston Headrick and Brother Eddie Davidson will officiate.
Survivors include husband, Kent Maxwell; son, Brandon Maxwell; daughter, Madison Cayson and husband, Allen; parents, Ray and Linda Thompson; brothers, Brent Thompson and wife, Lisa; mother-in-law, Ruth Maxwell; sisters-in-law, Sharon Boyles and husband, Mike, Martha Taylor; Nephews, Seth Thompson and wife, Lindsey, Chad Thompson, Sawyer Thompson; niece, Savannah Thompson; great-nephew, Evan Thompson; aunts, Sue Tidwell, Betty Clark and husband, Jack; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Tonya’s memory to the Christ Community Fellowship Church, The Ramp or the Hamilton First Baptist Church.
