Tony Guin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer, on January 7, 2021 at age 67. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. Tony was born in Memphis TN to Elsie Janice Rayburn and Robert Eugene Guin. He was an electrician by trade and a treasure hunter of Civil War artifacts by drive. He was the President of the Nashville Chapter of the Middle Tennessee Metal Detecting Club for 10 years. He lived a colorful life in the fast lane, enjoying motorcycles and hot rods. Mr. Guin is survived by wife of 42 years Tamara Starr, children Rebecca Mallett Richey, Leslie April Guin, Jonathan Adam (Nannah Marie) Guin, and Zachary Miller (Faith McCreery) Guin, grandchildren Amelia Tornatore, Ashleigh Guin, Kayleigh Guin, David Guin Jr., Jonny Guin, Taryn Conroy, Harper Richey, Perrah Guin, Bellah Guin, Henry Richey, and Rutledge Guin, siblings Paula Kelly, Rickie Guin, Lois Anderson, and Carrie Thweatt, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Robert and Elsie Guin, and son David Wayne Guin. Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN, 615.444.9393.
