Memorial service for Tony Couey, 72, will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 4:00 – 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Couey passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023. He was born Thursday, November 8, 1951 to Jo Riggs.
He graduated from Morgan County High School (Hartselle) in 1970 where he was a letterman in football, baseball, track, and was a member of the diving team. After high school he attended the Gradwohl School of Laboratory Technique in St. Louis. He later worked in the lab in Hartselle Hospital and retired from Decatur Orthopedic Clinic. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Couey, and his mother.

Son – Anthony Couey (Melissa)
Daughters – Courtney Couey of Ringgold, GA, and Caitlin Orr (Jacob) of Huntsville
