Tonie Michelle Clarke Barnett

Tonie Michelle Clarke Barnett, 57, passed away on September 21, 2024 in Maben, MS. She was born June 9, 1967 in Starkville, MS to the late Billy Dean Clarke and Barbara Betts Clarke. She was a retired CNA. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed crafting, making necklaces, blankets, etc.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie (Little Bit) Means; sister, Donna Clarke; brother, Kenny Clarke; and niece, Traci Clarke.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Barnett; daughter, Casey Williams (Jason); sons, Patrick Means (Amber) and Adam Smith (Kristen); step-daughter, Heather Barnett; step-son, Cody Barnett (Nessie); and grandchildren, Joseph, Stephanie, Jacob, Caleb, Gage, Kyra, Kavin, Ky’Renna, Kahliana, Brody, Alissa, Aaron, Axl, Madison, Laci, Nick and Austin; one great granddaughter, Chloe; brothers, Aubrey Clarke and Billy Dean Clarke, Jr.; and loved by many other family and friends.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Will Livingston will conduct the service.
