Tommy Wiley Beasley, age 67, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024.
Tommy was a truck driver for over 40 years and loved his job. He enjoyed playing lead guitar, especially at Our Father’s House where he loved attending church. He was the type of man who enjoyed driving the wrecker and tow truck and was always available to help anyone he could. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis & Ollie May (Pounders) Beasley; brother, Marvin Beasley; sisters, MelVirginia Beasley, Martha Hall, May Sue Frederick.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Christine Watson (husband, Brian), Tommy Wayne “TJ” Beasley (wife, Jessica); grandchildren, Emily Grace Watson, Elijah Paul Watson, Laken Gilliland (husband, Justin); great-grandchildren, Sawyer Gilliland, Greyson Gilliland; brother, Roger Beasley (wife, Elaine), Barbara Hester; and a host of nieces & nephews.
The visitation will be 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. Sister Pearl Shelton and Bro. Greg Pace will officiate the service. The burial will be at Landersville Cemetery in Lawrence County.
The pallbearers will be Scott Raines, David Ward, Brian Watson, Elijah Watson, and Justin Gilliland. The honorary pallbearers will be Al Neuheizel and Gene Ward.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Hospice of Shoals, North Alabama Medical Center, and My Father’s House church and friends for your love, care, visits, and prayers.
