Tommy Ray Long, age 73, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at Ahava Healthcare of Clarksville.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 o’clock pm, Saturday, June 19th in the Pleasant View United Methodist Church Cemetery with family officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family requests that dress be causal at the graveside service.
There will be no public visitation prior to the graveside service.
Tommy was born on November 25, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Jimmy and Frances Long. He was a retired construction superintendent and was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War as a Military Police.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving companion- his beloved Pomeranian, “AJ’.
Survivors include his daughters, Christy (Chas) Adkisson of Pleasant View, Michelle Long of Chapmansboro; brothers, Jerry Long, Larry (Cecilia) Long; granddaughter, Kayla Williams (fiancé Bradley Johnson); step-granddaughter, Cierra Adkisson; six great-grandchildren, Rylee, Levi, Brownie, Madalyn, Grant, and Emmett; two nephews, Jeremy (April) Long, James Long; great-niece and nephews, Christian, Caleb, Miracle, and Max; and Christy’s mother, Jenny Ham.
