Tommy Lane Holloway, 72, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Tommy was a Pontotoc County employee for the third district. He was an avid horse lover. He spent many days hooking his horses to the wagon and riding across country. He loved riding horses, training horses, and going to rodeos. He also enjoyed spending time with and helping the Amish. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. He was loved by all who knew him.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Nancy Cossey Holloway; his children, Penny Neal(Frankie), Brandy Goolsby(Billy), Carrie Mathis(Terry), Dionne Gunter(Shannon), Joey Cossey, and Tyler Cossey; his grandchildren, Jimmy Dale, Jonathan, Preston, Brandon, Harlee, Emily, Wyatt, Dylan, and Morgan, and Gavin, Jax, and Corbett; his four great-grandchildren; brother, Duayne Holloway(Reba); and sister, Alesia Holloway(Boyce).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Quinton and Marie Munlin Holloway; grandparents, Eric and Odele Holloway and Jessie and Ethel Munlin; sisters, Patricia Jenkins and Peggy Franks; his children, Jessie Wayne and Jessica Lane; and a granddaughter, Katlyn Goolsby.
Services will be Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 AM at Schoona Chapel Baptist Church with Bro. Bobby Cossey, Bro. Wayne Cobb, and Bro. Tim Franks officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25th 5-8PM at Schoona Chapel Baptist Church and Friday, July 26th 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Oak Forest Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Holloway, Sha Holloway, Samuel Holloway, Cade Holloway, Jimmy Dale Goolsby, Jonathan Goolsby, Brandon Goolsby, Preston Mathis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Anthony Holloway, Jax Cossey, and Corbett Cossey.
