Tommy K Hudson, 75, a long resident of Tupelo went to be with his lord on December 9th 2016 at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
Born and raised in Thaxton, he was the son of Thomas “Hub” Hudson and Mary Inez Carwile Hudson. Tommy was one of five siblings and a lifelong resident of Mississippi.
Mr. Hudson believed passionately in his family, faith and hard work. He would always say Work hard and you can have anything you want. He was a long time employee of Frankie Blackmon Chevrolet where he was awarded many salesmanship awards and as a result of his pleasant personality and kind spirit made many friends in the community.
Tommy Hudson went by many names. Besides Tommy, he was known as friend, husband, dad and granddaddy. He was the rock that his family could lean on. Providing the hug or the encouraging words needed to make memories or to simply get a loved one through the day. His children will forever be his babies and the stars that make up the sky.
He was a devoted member and elder of Good News Church in Tupelo MS, where he served as a deacon working closely with church administrators helping to spread the work of god that he cherished so closely. He firmly believed the words of Matthew 24:13, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”
