Tommy Jack (TJ) Erwin was born March 3, 1946 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late James (Jim) Ulus and Willadean Scott Erwin.
He was united in marriage to Nancy Sharp on July 11, 1965.
Mr. Erwin retired five years ago from Packaging Corporation of America in Counce, TN as a boiler operator. He was a member and deacon at the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He had a love for wood working, carving, and the great outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting skeet and working in his yard. Since his retirement, you could often find him at the local coffee shops.
Mr. Erwin departed this life on November 28, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 67 Years, 8 Months, 25 Days. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Erwin of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Paige Joyner and husband Brian of Alamo, TN; a son, Scott Erwin and wife Stephanie of Memphis, TN; a sister, Jimmie Ann Burks and husband Jerry of Adamsville, TN; five grandchildren, Daniel and Benjamin Joyner, Gabriella, Abigail and Noah Erwin.
