Tommy J Collett, Sr., 75, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015.
A celebration of life service will be held at Laughlin’s funeral home on Tuesday, February, 24, 2015 from 5-7 p.m.
Tommy was born on May 5, 1939 at the home of his parents, James and Ruby (Eslinger) Collett. He graduated from Butler High School in 1957. On May 9, 1964 he married Marsha (Wiley) Collett. Tommy was employed with the Cotton Mill for 25 years, then Intergraph for the next 20 years. He enjoyed to work, and was an avid collector. He spent most of his weekends attending yard sales, auctions, flea markets, bowling, & spending time with his grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Tommy is survived by his Wife, Marsha Collett of Huntsville, AL, two sons, Tommy J “TJ” Collett of Huntsville, AL, and James Ivan (Tami) Collett of Madison, AL, Three brothers, Four sisters, Nine grandchildren, Five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, five brothers, one sister, & one great grandchild.
