Tommy Allen Cogil, age 80 of Decherd, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his residence. He was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on May 2, 1942, to the late Clifford and Lois (Stewart) Cogil. Before his retirement, he was employed as a realtor. An avid NRA supporter, he enjoyed skeet shooting and hunting in the great outdoors. He had been a stockcar racecar driver in his younger years. After retirement, he and his wife were full time RVers for seven years. Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Renee Cogil; children, Tanya (Kevin) Simmons of Kansas, Scott (Samantha) Cogil of Virginia, and Lisa Quick of Kansas; step-children, Toby Levin of New Mexicio, and Madeline (Luis Jimenez-Maroto) of Wisconsin; ten grandchildren; and brother, Gary (Adrienne) Cogil of Las Vegas, Nevada.
