Tommie is survived by her foster daughter Jane Keenan (Doug) of Defuniak Springs, FL; her siblings June Gonzalez of Decatur, AL, Floyd Smelley (Dianne) of Childersburg, AL, and Laura Armstrong (Larry) of Moody, AL and her various Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Tommie was preceded in death by her first husband Clyde Wise; her husband Edward Shaw; her father Gladwin C. Smelley and her mother Ruby Leigh Smelley; her children Roy Don Wise, Janice Loran Wise Williams, and Bonnie Lanelle Wise, her twin sibling Thomas Smelley, her siblings Jerry Smelley, Jean Smelley, and Kenneth Smelley.
A graveside service for Tommie will be held Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Odena Baptist Cemetery, 115 Odena Rd North, Sylacauga, Alabama.
The family will be receiving flowers or in lieu of flowers, contributions in Tommie’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
