Tommie Jean McCorkle, 70, of Florence, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018. The visitation will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 10 a.m. with Eric Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Tommie was a native of Russellville and a longtime resident of Florence. She was a retired chapter one reading teacher for Underwood, Oakland, and Cloverdale school system.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edward McCorkle.
Survivors include her sons, Keith McCorkle and Scott McCorkle; daughters, Terri McCorkle and Ashley McCorkle; grandchildren, Zak McCorkle, Joanie Ann McCorkle and Jace Keeton; and great-grandson, Levi McCorkle.
Pallbearers will be family.
