Todd Benjamin Askew, age 31, of Flagstaff, AZ died Thursday, October 08, 2015. His family will receive friends, Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Woodward Ave. Baptist Church, Muscle Shoals, with his funeral service following in the church sanctuary. Dr. Tom Whatley will officiate.
Todd was a 2002 graduate of Bob Jones High School. He was an inspiration to so many, who were touched by his gentle soul, handsome smile, love for life and unbelievable devotion to his family. He never met a stranger and would light up any room with his presence. The many beautiful adventures he shared with his family created memories for a lifetime. His legacy lives on in his three precious children. They each have a part of Todd that shines through. Although we mourn his passing, we are comforted in knowing he is flying high now. Even in his final days through the pain and suffering, he was so sweet and kind. We are confused, yet thankful, this happened so fast and he is now at peace. Heaven gained one amazing angel. Hopefully heaven has his golf clubs, mandolin and lumber ready for our incredible man. He left this earth surrounded by love from family and friends, and was welcomed in heaven with more love from our heavenly Father and the angels waiting, rejoicing at his arrival.
Survivors include his wife, Anya Deaton Askew, his daughters; Ariana Askew, Avari Askew, son; Benjamin Askew, mother, Robin Askew Britton (Bob), father, Bradley Neal Askew (Kelly), brothers; Phillip Askew, Nicholas Akins, Chase Askew, and sister; Erin Askew; grandparents, Alma Askew, John and Marge Lemley, Robert Horton; and In Laws, Danny and Charlotte Deaton.
Pallbearers are Phillip Askew, Chase Askew, Nick Akins, Sammy Ajjuri, Cole Martin, Andy Modrall, Bill Hallman, Jr., and Alan Lacase.
Honorary Pallbearers are John Greenfield, Elias Marshall, Chad McCutchen, Tim Shinkle, Steve Halgrimson and Michael Back.
