Toby Yarbrough, age 90 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away February 5, 2023. He served in the United States Army with the 107th Trucking Company during the Korean War, worked at Formed Tubes as Plant Manager, member of Haleyville Methodist Church, belonged to the Haleyville Civitan Club, served on the Haleyville Board of Education and was inducted into the Winston County Sports Hall of Fame.
His visitation will be Wednesday February 8, 2023 from 2:00PM – 3:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 3:00PM in the chapel, with Bro. Mitch Nethery officiating. Burial; to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Betty Lee Yarbrough; daughters, Nancy Yarbrough Harris (Greg) of Auburn, AL., Janet Yarbrough Sanders (Russell) of Auburn, AL. and Cindy Yarbrough of Haleyville, AL.; sister, Gail Yarbrough Herren (Jimmy) of Decatur, AL.; grandchildren, Ashley Harris Pearce (Geoff) of Madison, AL., Sarah Harris of Charlotte, NC, Courtney Sanders of Washington, DC and Kyle Sanders of Walnut Creek, CA.; great grandchildren, Carter Pearce and Jordan Pearce both of Madison, AL.; a loving host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley and Alice Bagwell Yarbrough; sisters and brothers, Marie Wright, Hank Chilcoat, Denzil Yarbrough and Gene Yarbrough.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to : Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Haleyville Methodist Church.
