Timothy “Timmy” Brian Cunningham, age 50 of Winchester, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on August 11, 1974. Timmy was currently employed by AT&T. An avid sportsman, he played football at South, as well as basketball at Franklin County High School and Motlow State Community College. He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, University of Tennessee Vols, and listening to wrestling podcasts. Timmy had a kind and generous nature and was extremely outgoing and will also be remembered for his sense of humor. He was a member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in Winchester. Timmy was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Cunningham; brothers, Anthony Frazer and Stevie Cunningham; grandparents, James A. and Mildred Cunningham and William and Jewel Burnette; and uncle, James L. “Buster” Cunningham. He is survived by his loving daughter, Olivia Cunningham; father, Charles Burnette; siblings, Sharon McKibben, Angela (James) Massengill, Jewelnell (Chris) Reese, Janet Davis, Callie Mae (Brett) Henderson, Bonita (Kenneth) Staten, Carla (Daniel) Bradford, Carlos Cunningham, Annette (Charles) Johnson, Shiro (Ericka) Burnette, Amanda (Shanta) Brewer, Markus Foxx, and Charles J. Burnette; aunts and uncles, Carrie Brown, Charlotte Childress, Ernestine Trimble, Volinda (Otis) Eady, Joyce Cunningham, Arnell (Jerry) Horton, Marcella Cunningham, Deborah (Larry) Williams, Darlene (Lamont) Snipes, and Freeman Burnette; special cousins, Michael Cunningham, Jason Cunningham, and Vicki Disch; life-time friend, Terry Farris; and special friends, Lynn Allen Smith, Jackie Robinson Jr. and Brian Smith. Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
