Born on April 1, 1971, in Maury County, Tim was the son of Jo Ann Hardison Lacy and the late Leroy Madison Lacy. He graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1990 and married Darticia on January 9, 1993. In his teenage years, Tim dedicated his life to Jehovah God, was baptized and enjoyed serving others in the congregations.
Tim loved working with wood, making cabinets and furniture, bowling, fishing, cooking and watching football. He partnered with his brother Reggie and cousin Eric grilling and competing in BBQ competitions. His smile would light up the room and he treasured spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Seth (Sierra) Lacy of Spring Hill, daughter, Semone Lacy (Chauncey Pierce) of Columbia, brother, Reggie (Ysha) Lacy of Spring Hill; sisters, Veronica Bills of Columbia, Alesia (David) Sanders of Fayetteville, Taryna Holt, Deborah Denise Armstrong, and Linda Armstrong of Columbia; grandchildren, Nykaria, Elijah, Phoenix, Samarah, and Onyx; nieces and nephews, Jamiah, Myles, Kyle, Weston, Imari, Preston, Brandon, Marquissa, Cameron, Kelly, Thomas, Courtney, Travis, Jacquelyn, Sharnita, Brittani, LaQuinton; mother-in-law, Rosalyn Towns; brother-in-law, Rylan (Shari) Towns, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless spiritual brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his father.
It was Tim’s wish to be cremated with no public service. His family will celebrate his life with a private gathering at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the Centennial Heart Specialists, staff at Tristar Southern Hills Rehab, and the Tristar 5th Tower nursing staff for your comfort, care and support over the years.
