Timothy “Shane” King, age 46, of Arab, Alabama passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center North. Mr. King was born December 29, 1976 in Marshall County, Alabama. Shane worked as a diesel mechanic for the trucking company Arab Cartage. He was a member of Ryan Baptist Church. Shane spent his leisure time using his mechanical knowledge on different household projects, woodworking, fishing, enjoying the outdoors and the University of Alabama sports.
Shane is survived by a loving family which includes: daughter and son-in-law, Leona and Nicholas Stancil; sisters and brothers-in-law, Misty and Frank Elmore and Mandy and Doug Towles; grandchildren, Sophia Stancil, Izabella Stancil and Luna Stancil.
He was preceded in death by son, Timothy Abram King; mother, Cynthia “Cindy” Moore; and grandmother, Martha Beal.
A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Morgan City.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel to aid in funeral expenses.
