Funeral service for Brother Timothy Rodger Collins age 65 of Gadsden will be Monday, July 31, 2023, at 2:00pm at Lebanon Baptist Church with Brother Randy Ashley, and Brother Chris Martin officiating with burial in the adjoining cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time on Monday at the Church.
Brother Collins, who was born March 30, 1958, in Morgan County to Herman Samuel Collins and Elvie Dean Shaneyfelt Collins, died on Friday, July 28, 2023, at his home in Gadsden. His parents preceded him in death.
Brother Rodger was a Southern Baptist Minister for 41 years serving many Churches and was the Pastor at Walnut Park Baptist Church in Gadsden, Alabama for the last 17 years.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Annette Brown Collins; 2 Brothers, Donald Collins (Heather), and Ronald Collins; and a sister, Linda Chesser (Ivan).
Perry Byrd, Rodney Byrd, Luke Hester, Steve Hearn, Johnathan Gould, and Cody Brown will serve as pallbearers.
Clayton Hearn and Patrick Collins will be Honorary Pallbearers
