Timothy Moore Timothy Moore, of Parrish, Al, entered into his heavenly rest on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 surrounded by family at the age of 78.

Tim was born on November 18, 1945 to Ottis and Mirean Moore in Parrish, Al. He was one of ten children. On July 18, 1970 Tim married the love of his life, Joan. They were married for 52 years. On October 28, 2022 Joan entered into her heavenly rest. On February 8th, they were reunited in perfect wholeness.

Tim is survived by his Son-Timothy Jay Moore and Daughter-in-law Rebecca Moore; Brothers-Ned Moore (LaRae) and Terry Moore; Sister-Emily Gurganus (Phillip); Sisters-in-law-Betty Moore and Jaimie Buzzbee; Nieces-Tammy Moore Kiser (Jack), Lydia Moore; Nephews-Trent Moore (Samantha), Nathan Moore (Maggie), Jordan Moore, Brody Gurganus (Alley) and Ben Gurganus; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his Wife-Joan; Sons-Shannon and Shane; Parents-Mirean and Ottis Moore; Father-in-law and Mother-in-Law- Richard and Emma Burrough; Brothers-David Moore and Ronald Moore; Sisters-Sharon Hunt, Carolyn Moore, Brinda Moore and Shelby Jean Moore; Sister-in-Law-Betty Simmons; Brothers-in-Law-Tim Burrough, Johnny Burrough and Jimmy Burrough.

Tim committed his life following to Christ. He was a deacon at Dovertown Freewill Baptist Church, where he was a member for over 40 years. Tim might have been known as a quiet man but when he spoke his words were profound. He has left a great legacy behind.

Tim’s presence will be greatly missed. He was a mighty Man of God and a great prayer warrior.  His body is now made whole and he is dancing in the presence of Jesus.

Pallbearers will be Trent Moore, Jackson Kiser, Jake Kiser and Jace Kiser. Honorary Pallbearers are Dennis Jones, James Jones and Jordan Jones.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, February 14th at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper,  funeral services will follow at  1:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel with Anthony Bubba Hallman officiating. A brief Graveside Service will follow at Zion Church of Christ in Parrish.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dovertown Freewill Baptist Church in honor of Tim.
