Timothy Dwayne Jones, 53, of Florence, died Saturday, June 4, 2016. His visitation will be Monday, June 6th from 6 pm until 8 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Florence / Central Heights. The funeral service will be Tuesday, June 7th, at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Larry Watkins, John Richards, and David Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in Central Heights Community Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was a native of Florence, Alabama. He was a member of Stewartsville Church of Christ. He was employed by the City of Florence Water Department. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Olen and Josie Jones, and also Dewey and Vivle Faulkner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Wanda Jones; mother, Linda Faulkner; father, Jimmy Faulkner; sisters, Tamara Hart and Martina Faulkner; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Covington, Cory Covington, Price Rhodes, Carl Williams, Phillip South, and Troy Jones.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Gifford, Jimmy Peters, Ryan Wallace, Mike Hipps, Michael Burns, Randle Faulkner, Paul Dickerchild, Chad Thompson, Curtis Lovell, Jamie Carter, all the guys at the warehouse, and special nieces and nephews.
