We regret to announce the passing of Timothy Dale Calaway, of Toney, Alabama, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at Home.
Timothy was born on February 3, 1969, to Janet Sue Byrge Calaway and the late Bobby Dale Calaway
Mr. Calaway spent the majority of his life in Toney, Alabama where he was a Deputy Sheriff with Madison County until he retired.
He enjoyed collecting knives and building guns. When he was younger, he enjoyed motor sports and racing his motorcycle on the track.
Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Dale Calaway, one sister, Terri Duby, grandmother, Helen Byrge of Huntsville, TN.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Ginger Calaway, one son, Justin (Kathryn) Calaway, one grandchild, Wesley Calaway, one daughter Hayden Grace Calaway, Mother, Sue Byrge Letson of Meridianville, AL., stepfather, Charles Letson, one Uncle Paul Byrge of Huntsville, AL., his in-laws, Ruth Puckett Maki and Sam Maki of Madison, Al., The Quinn and Puckett Families of Ardmore, AL. As well as many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 12:00 (noon) until 1:00 PM. A Chapel Service will follow directly afterwards at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery following the service. Bro. Lon Ostrzycki will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Bethlehem Baptist of Hazel Green, AL. Missions fund.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
