Funeral service for Timothy Carl “Tim” Puckett, age 58, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Coomer officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Mr. Puckett, who died Friday, November 29, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital, was born May 9, 1966, in Alabama to James Carl Puckett and Wanda Studdard Puckett. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Angela Renee Kelly; and stepbrother, William Joseph Beard.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Ray; son, James C. Puckett; two stepchildren, Christopher M. Walker and Melanie N. Burdick; and two grandchildren, Makenna N. Burdick and Peyton Campbell Burdick.
Knowing a man like Tim was like a piece of starlight: beautiful, bright, and rare. He had the heart of an angel and spirit of a warrior. He knew how to make people smile, even when he was exhausted. He had walls built around his heart, but once you showed your sincerity, he would never leave your side. Tim was much smarter than he let people see, and when they underestimated him, he loved to prove them wrong. His only weakness was that he cared too much.
