Timothy Byron Hutson of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the age of 74 after a long illness. Tim was born in Clarksburg, West Virgina, to parents, Edward R. Hutson and Eva Jane Smith Hutson (Holley). The family lived in Barberton, Ohio, and Tim graduated from Barberton High School in 1968. Tim attended Kent State University in the early 1970s. He was a founding member of the band “15-60-75” which would later become The Numbers Band, a staple of the Kent music scene in the 1970s.

Tim served in the United States Army for ten years from 1980 to 1990, during which he achieved the rank of Sargeant along with many commendations and awards. After leaving the Army, Tim relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. He was a security guard at Huntsville Hospital until his retirement. Tim was a huge fan of Indy car races and soccer.

Tim is survived by his brother, David Hutson (Beverly) of Wadsworth, Ohio; nephew, Brian Hutson of Akron, Ohio; and niece, Nonya Wenger (Eugene) of Wooster, Ohio; and extended family in and around Salem, West Virginia. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Connie Hutson and brother, Teddy Hutson, both of Wooster, Ohio.

Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville, Ohio at a later date.
