Timothy “Butch” Gerald Martin, 57, of Elkmont, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at Athens Limestone Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Martin and Ruby Jo Moore Martin, as well as one son, Brandon Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 18” years, Marci Martin, one son, Chad (Tammy) Martin, two daughters, Angie Johnson and Mandy (Nathan) Free, one sister, Melissa (Tim) McDaniel, as well as six grandchildren; Nathan, Natasha, Isabella, Josephine, Deanna, and Alice.
Mr. Martin lived around the Elkmont area all his life where he was a member of Kelly’s Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Martin enjoyed time outdoors as well as sharing a cup of coffee with friends at the local City Café. His passions included spending time with his family and antique cars.
There will be a visitation for Mr. Martin at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A Chapel Service will follow the visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Bro. Michael Cothren will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family with services.
