Timothy Ray Potts Timothy “Bubba” Ray Potts, age 54, a resident of Summertown, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, February 9th, 2024, at his residence.

 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM with Rick Points officiating at Heritage Funeral Home.  Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery.  A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

Born on January 21, 1970, in Columbia, Tennessee, Timothy was the son of the Nathan Potts and the late Patsy Potts Brown.  He was self-employed in the construction business.  Timothy had a passion for sports, particularly baseball; a game he played throughout his school years.  His love for NASCAR was evident, with Dale Earnhardt standing as his favorite driver.

 

Timothy is survived by his father, Nathan Potts (special friend, Carolyn Hill), sons, Nicholas Potts (Elizabeth Ray) of Columbia and Landon Potts (Heather Ratliff) of Columbia, brother, Michael (Grace) Goats of Knoxville, sisters, Angela Morton of Ocala, Florida and Jennifer (Timmy) Massie of Columbia, grandchild, Elias Christian Potts and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Potts, stepmother, Deborah Potts, and brother-in-law, Eddie Morton.
