Born March 13, 1963, in Tippah County, Timmie was the son of the late Tulan Write and Georgie Luruth Lampkins Haygood. He was a graduate of Falkner High School and was a believer in hard work, as he was employed with different road construction companies, which included Kimes and Stone for twenty years.
A humble man, Timmie’s favorite pastimes included listening to Bod Segar music, watching and reminiscing with his friends while they fished, eating his favorite foods, which included frog legs and crawfish, and being surrounded by his close-knit family and precious grandchildren. He often spent many afternoons outdoors watching the sun go down and admiring all of God’s Creations. Timmie always kept life simple, did right by others, laughed often, loved his family, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memories include three daughters, Lawanda Pannell (Robert), Destiny Cole, and Rachel Burnett (David), one son, James Bowden, two sisters, Nancy Haygood (Jackie), and Kimberly Harris (Peatrice), one brother, Phillip Shane Haygood (Patricia Huffins), four grandsons, one granddaughter, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is also preceded in death by one brother, Adam Joe Haygood.
