Funeral service for Tim Smith, 47, of Hartselle will be Monday January 05, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Ashley, and Reverend Ronnie Marvutt officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday January 04, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Smith was born June 13, 1968 in Escambia County to James Albert and Jane Ward Smith. He passed away Thursday January 01, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. Smith was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church, he served in the United States Army for nine years, and was a dog rescue volunteer.
Mr. Smith is survived by his wife; Teresa Rhoads Smith of Hartselle, son; Tucker King of Hartselle, mother; Jane Ward Smith of Brewton, AL, father and mother-in-law; Bobby and Margaret Rhoads of Hartselle, brothers; Jeffrey Allen Smith and wife Lisa of Madison,and Christopher Michael Smith of Dothan, three aunts; Jeanette Barnett, Mavis Prater, Laranell Burns, niece; Colleen Smith and nephew; Garrett Smith.
