Tim Ellett of Hazel Green passed away on Saturday. He was 66.

Tim was proud to be part of the Hazel Green community. He was the founder of T&E Transmission and operated the business before passing it along to his son.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Ellett; his sisters: Teresa Clark and Delores Clark; his parents, Frank & Annie Mae Ellett. His mother-in-law, Evelyn Martin.

Surviving family members include his wife, Buffy Dailey; His son, James Ellett Jr. and wife, Heather Ellett; his step-son, Robert Dailey and wife, Tiffany Dailey; his grandchildren: Braxton Ellett and Teagan Ellett; his step-grandsons: Travis Dailey and Arthur Dailey; his sister, Debbie Harris; his brother, Ray Ellett. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday evening at 6pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. The family will begin receiving friends one hour before the service.

Tim will be remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help anyone in need, for being a loving husband and father, and for his care for others.

Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
