Ms. Tiffany Maderious Ivy Miss Tiffany (“Tiff”) Maderious Ivy was born October 29, 1992, to Lillie Pennington Ivy and Paul Porter. She departed this life on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Tiffany obeyed the gospel of Christ as a teenager at Westside Church of Christ in Vernon, Alabama. Later, she moved with her mom to Madison, AL.

Tiffany graduated from Lamar County High School in 2011 where she was active in sports, including basketball and softball. After graduation, Tiffany attended cosmetology school in Florence, AL. She furthered her education at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL. Afterwards, Tiffany worked various jobs and later moved into a position as a daycare teacher, where she took pleasure in loving the children in her care.

Tiffany leaves to mourn her death: her beautiful little daughter, Kalayah (“K.J.”) Ivy, whom she loved with all of her heart; loving mom, Lillie Pennington Ivy; father, Paul Porter; supportive sister, Lakesha Doughty (Tracy) Madison, Alabama; brother, Marco Porter, Columbus, Mississippi; five sisters: Yolanda Chapman, Texas, Paula Moore (Greg) Westpoint, Mississippi, Leda Porter, Helena, Alabama, and Ramona Sanders, Columbus, Mississippi. Tiffany was known for her big smile and free spirit; she loved the many friends and family gatherings, and loving on her baby girl. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her very much and will miss her saying “I love you”, as she always reminded us. God’s loving hands are smiling, “Tiff”.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Lucas Street Church of Christ (824 Lucas St, Athens, AL 35611) with Brother Cedric McNeill officiating. Interment will be in the Thatch-Mann Cemetery. Ms. Ivy will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

The Ivy family will receive guests from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Lucas Street Church of Christ.

Public viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Lucas Street Church of Christ.
